Who We Are
Accounting for Dentistry, CPA, PC is centered around the unique qualifications and experience of Dan Rothstein, DDS, MBA, CPA. Dan is a former practicing dentist, with current active licenses as both a Dentist and Certified Public Accountant in New York State. We are the only CPA firm whose principal holds concurrent memberships in the AICPA, New York State Society of CPAs, American Dental Association and New York State Dental Association. When you become a client of Accounting for Dentistry, CPA, PC, Dr. Rothstein personally supervises every aspect of the engagement and is your principal contact for all engagement matters. We know the business of dentistry.
Our Clients
Our clients are dentists. These include individual dentists, unincorporated practices, incorporated practices (C-corps, S-Corps, and LLCs), and partnerships. We also currently provide services to some dental-related businesses and to a few physician practices as well.
Our Concept
We focus on the specific needs of dentists and their practices. Dr. Rothstein says, "Our client is the CEO of a substantial business. In any other industry, with a business of that size there would be someone with the title or function of CFO, Controller or Finance Director. In addition to performing routine accounting functions, our role is to be the CFO of the dental practice, report to the CEO on his or her terms and provide the data and analysis that informs good managerial decisions."
